Sam utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches for treatment, including but not limited to Psychodynamic, Existentialism and Gestalt, Humanistic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Sam is also certified in Expressive Arts Therapy. Her philosophy is that the client knows themselves best, and she believes in assisting clients through processing life events, creating meaning, finding fulfillment, and living life fully as one’s authentic self. Sam’s goal is to create a strong client-counselor alliance and provide unconditional positive regard so that clients can heal and grow safely.
Sam earned her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and certification in Expressive Arts Therapy from Purdue University Northwest.
