Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Job Description

NWI Clarity Clinic is looking for a fully licensed clinical therapist to join our established, and growing, practice. The therapist will provide a full range of assessment, psycho-therapeutic, and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families with acute and/or chronic mental illness or substance abuse issues. Candidates will be exposed to various modalities of treatment and will be expected to conduct diagnostic assessments to formulate DSM-V diagnoses and complete treatment plans to support therapeutic interventions. The candidate must have utilized clinical interventions and diagnostic skills in their current or previous work experience.

Salary
$60,000 - $115,000 a year or 1099 options

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with established policies.
  • Prepare and sign medical records in a timely manner.
  • Develop treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Document the assessment process with treatment plan revisions, as necessary.
  • Complete documentation for billing of services rendered in accordance with established policies.
  • Individual/evidence based psychotherapy, assessment, treatment, discharge, safety planning, and documentation.
  • The candidate must provide diagnostic evaluations including all components as outlined in the psychosocial assessment tool.

Requirements:

Job Description

Clarity Clinic NWI is seeking Psychiatrists who are interested in a flexible, hybrid schedule that includes no weekend or on-call commitments. We offer additional compensation for supervising mid-level providers, along with support from experienced nursing staff. Responsibilities

  • Screening and assessing patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including but not limited to interviews, medical histories, and observations.
  • Psychiatric consultations
  • Providing medication management by prescribing and administering medications according to diagnosis
  • Analyze information, data, and results of assessments to properly diagnose and treat patients
  • Monitor each patient to determine efficacy and the potential side effects of the medications prescribed
  • Developing treatment plans, monitoring progress of plans, and making adjustments as needed
  • Complete all necessary documentation timely and accurate
  • Crisis intervention in case of emergencies
  • Collaboration of patient care and treatment with providers in-house or externally

Qualifications

  • Current BC/BE board certification
  • Medical degree from an accredited school
